Janelle Rainville (Stage / Production Manager*) began her relationship with dance at the age of three, wearing the traditional blue tutu and sequins. She has stage-managed for over 30 dance companies and independent choreographers, including the National Ballet School , MOonhORsE Dance Theatre, Sampradaya Dance Creations, CORPUS and Peggy Baker. She has toured Malaysia and Singapore with the Canadian Children's Dance Theatre, and across Canada with Kaeja d'Dance. In the realm of theatre, Janelle has had the pleasure of working with Theatre & Company (Kitchener), Alumnae Theatre ( Toronto ), Theatre Cambridge, and the Globe Theatre ( Regina ). Janelle currently sits on the board of the Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists (CADA), and teaches stage management at Fanshawe College in London , Ontario . This is her fourth season as Stage / Production Manager for Danny Grossman Dance Company. She e sp ecially wishes to thank her husband, Robert Shortell, for keeping the candle burning during her long days away.
